In an effort to do our part to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in our community, we will be following specific guidelines for animal clinics and shelters to again offer some services.  We are now offering grooming/toenail trimming by appointment.  Vaccines, dewormer, flea/lice treatments are available for curbside pickup.  If you need to shop our other retail merchandise you will be required to wear a face covering as will our staff.  We are still not accepting visitors in the the shelter at this time.  If you have questions or would like to set up an appointment please call 766-3334 during our office hours Tu-Sa, 12-4.  Please call HBPD if you have an animal emergency 766-2121.

We are asking all of you to do your part too and make sure you have a plan in place for your pets should you become sick.  It’s important that you have a designated friend or family member that will care for your pet(s) if needed.  You should also have at least two weeks supply of pet food on hand as well as any medications they require.

Please visit for more information and check the Haines Borough website, for daily important updates.  Stay well.
